Toronto, present day:   Nick Night, a police officer in modern Toronto, diligently works the graveyard shift. Although odd as it may be, his captian allows him to work at night, in lue of his "alergy to the sun". Nick is fighting a two way battle though, not only does he work as an officer of the law, to protect society from the evil of the night; but he is a vampire and he is the evil that he is trying to protect society against. Nick was born over 700 years ago and brought up a religious man. He concidered himself a man of god and a night in the Holy Crusades. But while drinking in a pub one dark night, he was seduced by a beautiful vampire. She led him to a room where her master awaited Nick's life essence. Her master took a liking to Nick and made him into a vampire. The evil that now lurks within Nick troubles him deeply. And after over 600 years of reluctant killing he has given it up. Instead of taking blood from humans, Nick tried to repay his crimes of blood lust with service to humanity as an officer, to protect the week from the strong. A noble goal that is against his own inner needs. Join the Kickstart the Knight campain. Revive the series for a forth season or at least into made for TV movies, much like Alien Nation.
